"Finally, The Artist formerly Known as Eric Kirkland has come back to Hilarities"

It's been a while since I was last at this club that I got my start at about 15 years ago. Wednesday night was amateur night and the world famous Stan Piatt is still hosting the open mic night show after all these years.

It was good to see Stan as I used to co-host with him two days a week WAAAYYY back in the day. That was fun until Howard Stern came in the market and the station manager felt the station needed changes. The other comics and I that came in and co-hosted were unfortunately a part of those changes.

There were some decent amateurs last night, of course the guy that impressed me the most I can't remember his name. (As a comic I feel bad since that is a big pet peeve of ours that audiences never remember our names)

I do remember one comic named Todd who has awesome stage energy, now once he learns to get off the stage in his allotted time (he knows what I mean :-) ) he has some definite potential with all the energy he has on stage.
